Througout our stay all staff were extremely helpful. Our room was very good – very clean: lots of good quality toiletries: able to control air-conditioning: well-stocked mini-bar. Fabulous breakfast every morning: staff very good Shame we had to leave.

- On Christmas morning I was very exited when I went downstairs. I saw all the different shapes of the presents. When it was time to open our presents I was even more exited. This is what I got for Christmas! I got a big glass thermometer, a scarf and ear warmers that were crochet, a secret diary with a padlock and key, children’s make up, a science box with science goggles, two polar neck tops with short sleeve jumpers for them, a long sleeve top with a frilly part at the edge, baggy jeans with a belt that comes with it, some jewellery, a Miss Piggy bag and alarm clock and note pad it is an A5 paper, some other things and the best is my BFF doll. She comes with her own secret diary and membership card and bag and cardigan. Her name is Addison. So that was my Christmas I enjoyed my Christmas dinner it was very fun at my house having the Christmas dinner.It sounds like you had a great day, Renee! I enjoyed Christmas dinner too! Your presents sound brilliant!

- I would suggest not suffering. It could be a long, miserable flight. When in that situation, I ‘accidently’ bump the passenger to see if that wakes them up enough for them to stop snoring. If they’re that asleep, they typically won’t even realize what you did. If I’m ‘trapped’ at the window seat, I’ll wake them up to say that I’m sorry, but I need to use the lav and hopefully they won’t be snoring any more by the time I get back Thanks for the question. Hopefully this won’t happen to you very often…another option is to turn your iPod up!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very well appointed, and clean. Our room was very comfortable, with the small exception of the pillows on the bed that were very uncomfortable. The Hotel Olivi is a short walk from the centre of the old town of Sirmione. Sirmione is very pretty and an excellent base to explore the south of the Garda Lake from.
